Cio D’Or
Cio has fast became one of my favourite producers of ambient, minimal techno. The perfectly-sculpted atmospheric sounds that are often heard in her productions are most waming to the ear. It is the attention to detail in her productions that really set aside Cio from the rest. Her sound is best described as ‘warm, atmospheric minimal’ which has a real emphasis on hypnotic rhythms and melodic ideas that seamlessly flow in and out of her tracks. Her album, ‘Die Faser‘ (released on Prologue) is probably the best collective example of her work, and I would highly recommend a listen of it at some point.
